The legislation requires the Council to change its executive decision making process to one of two leadership options, namely Strong Leader or Elected Mayor. More details were announced this week on the May 5th Fairer Votes Referendum. The question put to voters will be: "Do you want the United Kingdom to adopt the 'Alternative Vote' system instead of the current 'First Past the Post' system for electing Members of Parliament to the House of Commons?"
